Radwood Road Trip In a Broken BMW 740iL!

A few months back I made a video about the experience I had taking my 1997 BMW 740iL to the Radwood NorCal car show. I posted this video to the Radwood channel a few months back, but figured I’d also post it here for anyone that missed it!

What do you do when you want to make a road trip to the Radwood car show, but all of your 80s and 90s cars are broken? Hit craigslist and buy another cheap car of course!

I’ve got a collection of obscure Radwood-era machines, but most everything needs some work and likely wouldn’t have made the 800 mile road trip. So the day before Radwood Norcal I went out and bought a cheap 1997 BMW 740iL, determined to get to the show in the lap of luxury. Once at the event, I found myself immersed in the unique car stories from everyone at the show. I talked with so many great people that I forgot to eat anything and managed to survive the day on a single Zima. Tons of fun.
