Apart from some major oil leaks, some suspension issues, a flat tire, and that propensity to stop running in the middle of busy intersections—this old Subaru is actually in decent shape. Ever since I took part in the Gambler 500 Rally in a Legacy wagon, I’ve wanted another Subaru to transform into a mild off-roading rig. Should this be the one?
