Today I’m taking a road trip up historic Route 66 on the way to Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch, a strange and intriguing
It’s Day 6 of our Road Trip to Northern California. I just picked up my new 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo and within a day it overheated and puked coolant all over a parking lot. My family and I are in Lake Tahoe, 400 miles from our home in Los Angeles, and we need to be back to LA in less than 48 hours. I don’t want my family to miss out on our planned trip to Devils Postpile National Monument today, and I don’t have much time to sort out what to do with my broken Porsche! Come join me as I figure out what to do with this water-boiling 944 Turbo, and we continue our family road trip down to one of the most unique geological features I’ve ever seen.
